
Robert B. Clelland
Consultant
Bob Clelland has extensive experience as a consultant to pension plans, insurance companies, foundations and endowments.
Bob is Director Emeritus of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA), the national professional organization for the investment consulting industry. He served on the Board of Directors of IMCA for twelve years and was the organization’s President for two of those years. As a founder of the Consultant’s Performance Standards Task Force, he participated in the shaping of investment standards for the industry. Bob is a frequent speaker at industry meetings.
Bob is a past member of the Board of Governors of the San Diego Foundation and the past Chair of the Foundation’s Investment Committee. He has been a Registered General Securities Principal (Series 24) and Registered Securities Representative (Series 7) and currently holds the Registered Investment Advisor Representative designation (Series 65).
He is past Chairman of the Board of the San Diego Regional Disaster Fund and is currently member of the Board of Directors and head of the Investment Committee of the San Diego Maritime Museum.
Bob received his Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Management from San Francisco State University and earned his Certified Investment Management AnalystSM (CIMA®) designation sponsored by the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) at the Wharton School.
